Communication matters in every industry and effort, serving as the vital thread that connects ideas, facilitates understanding, and fosters collaboration. As the Communication Director for the University of Tennessee CTR, I have a unique opportunity. I tell the inspiring stories of dedicated educators and innovative engineers. They are making a significant difference in transportation planning and research. Since joining the staff in 2023, I have immersed myself in a wealth of knowledge. I have learned so much about traffic safety and future mobility research. I’ve also learned about the crucial work being done behind the scenes. This includes efforts to keep pedestrians safe. It also aims to improve mobility options. It contributes to sustainable transportation solutions that will help communities for generations to come. Each project I meet offers new insights. It reinforces the importance of our mission. I engage with a diverse team of professionals. They are committed to advancing our understanding of transportation challenges and crafting effective strategies to tackle them.
